I have updated the project to support both BeanShell and the Eclipse compiler. In other words, you can now write full Java classes with generics ( – but I have keeped the BeanShell interpreter as well).
Features added:
– Full java support thanks to Eclipse compiler
– Full nimbus (when supported).
– Support for manual compilation
– Currently java compilation doesn’t work in the Java Web Start version.
I’ll soon write a blog or two about the implementation of this program.
The next logical step for this program would be integrating it into a IDE (such as IntelliJ, Eclipse, Netbeans, etc).
